Pricing

We are open to hosting both short and long term guests who are in Calgary for a medical purpose. As that is a stressful time for our guests, we do not host guests who are in town for any other reason. Our rate is $90 + gst /night for one room or $140 + gst /night for the use of both rooms.

Stays with us include:

A comfortable bed

A healthy breakfast

A home environment

accommodation with each room containing one queen sized bed
a healthy breakfast of your choice
free parking for your vehicle
free high-speed wifi for your devices
the ability to relax in any common area of our home

someone to chat with over breakfast or in the evening if you wish (your wish for privacy will also be respected)
fridge and cupboard space is available for guests to stock with groceries needed for preparing their lunch or dinner
laundry facilities are available for use at $5/load

Transportation & Parking

We offer rides to and from a NW Calgary hospital for $20/round trip, so that you don't need to worry

about driving in traffic, paying for parking or taking a taxi.

If you prefer to manage your own transportation, please be aware of the following:

Parking fees at the Children's Hospital or Foothill's Hospital
$15.00/day / $42.00/week / $74.00/month
Note: Save your receipts! You can apply a daily rate to a weekly pass, and a weekly pass to a monthly pass. Hospital staff need to sign and give you a form to take to the parking office on the main floor of the main parkade to get this rate.

Uber or Taxi cost from Motel Village to the Foothill's Hospital
Approximately $10 for a one-way trip; $20+ round-trip.

Other Options Close to NW Calgary Hospitals

When you check fees at hotels close to the Foothills Hospital or the Children's Hospital, you will find that we are a very affordable option with the additional benefits of rides to the hospital, a wide range of breakfast options and the ability to stay in a safe and supportive environment. We are far more than a place to sleep. You will quickly feel like you have found a "home away from home" and are among friends that will support you during a challenging time.
